The scattered village of Fliess at Via Claudia Augusta is located in the three-country triangle of Austria-Switzerland-Italy amidst the Alps. Fliess is the heart of the Kaunergrat nature park and home of the Archaeological Museum.

The village of Fliess is located on a sunny slope and it is the heart of the Kaunergrat Nature Park . The village area is scattered and covers many hamlets at the right and left shore of the Inn River.

Findings of the Tirolean section of the 2,000-year old Via Claudia Augusta Roman road are exhibited at the Documentation Centre and at the Archaeological Museum in Fliess .
The nature park village of the TirolWest holiday region captivates with its variety of flora and fauna, its numerous cultural highlights and archaeological findings.

In winter time the Venet family ski area can be easily reached with the South-Venet chairlift.
