The pilgrimage place of Kronberg is located directly at the Route of St. James.
During the approx. 1000-year old history of the pilgrimages to Santiago de Compostela pilgrims have left many traces in Tirol: stones and art works, written documents, coat of arms and village names tell of the steady throng of pilgrims. The history of the St. James Route is also the history of Tirol.
