Kaunergrat Nature Park

Kaunergrat nature park is amidst the Pitztal valley and the Kaunertal valley. A varied program is offered around the nature park building at Gachenblick in Fliess.

The Kaunergrat region has been marked by Ice Age and features unique and varied landscapes at all altitude levels of the Alps. It is meant to be the home of people, an area with exemplary agriculture close to nature, where the peculiarities of nature are protected.

The newly-built Nature Park Building with restaurant at Gachenblick is the centre. The exceptional "3000m Vertical Exhibition" gives an insight into the nature park as habitat. Free admission with TirolWestCard .

Experience nature, culture and agriculture on many theme hikes in the nature park area. Free participation in events of the summer program for holders of the TirolWestCard (except food and drink, transfers and contribution towards expenses for some).
