The two museums at the 2.000-year old Via Claudia Augusta hold special treasures.
Fliess Archaeological Museum
At the Fliess archaeological museum findings of a burnt offering site dating back to Bronze and Irion Age, a Roman cult place at Piller Sattel and the Bronze treasure of Fliess dating back to Hallstatt time are displayed.
Via Claudia Augusta Documentation Centre
At the Via Claudia August Documentation Centre the Roman road is documented. In showcases findings of the Via Claudia Augusta and a copy of Tabula Peutingeriana, the only preserved Roman road map, can be admired.
